Network Simulation Co-Lead – The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network
Ingrid trained as a nurse in Canada with a background in paediatric emergency. She has held both clinical and education positions at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead (CHW) and in that time developed an interest in simulation based education through her involvement with the development and implementation of a multidisciplinary in situ simulation program within the emergency department. As the CHW Simulation Coordinator, she was involved in the curricula design and course development for numerous in-situ and centre-based multidisciplinary simulation programs within the hospital and externally. During this time, she assisted in the establishment of Kids Simulation Australia. She currently is the Network Simulation Co-Lead for SCHN. Her current interests include the use of simulation to inform healthcare development and design as well as simulation sustainability in healthcare.
