Australasian Simulation Congress 2023
21 – 24 August 2023 | Adelaide Convention Centre
The Simulation Australasia Board and the 2023 Australasian Simulation Congress Organising Committee warmly invite you to join us at the Australasian Simulation Congress 2023 (ASC 2023) from 21 to 24 August 2023 at the Adelaide Convention Centre. This year’s Congress will explore contemporary challenges for simulation practitioners through the theme, ‘Life between simulation and reality‘.
The ASC 2023 will once again bring together the SimHealth, SimTecT and Serious Games streams, along with opportunities for a number of joint sessions of mutual interest. We are also delighted to partner with the Systems Engineering Society of Australia in a special simulation test and evaluation stream.
The ASC congresses have provided a forum for international research, academic innovation and industry communities in Modelling and Simulation and Training for over two decades, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. The three-day event will feature masterclasses, keynote speeches and invited talks, regular paper presentations, as well as special interest panels delivered by leading experts in the respective simulation fields.
The ASC 2023 theme reflects the practical considerations for bringing simulations to life: budgets, diversity and inclusion, ethics, innovation and more. Practitioners are increasingly called on to juggle these operational realities within a context of ongoing skills and workforce shortages exacerbated by a global pandemic, increasingly frequent natural disasters and a shifting geo-political balance. Innovations and new knowledge span the scope of new technologies as well as new ways of working together.
Join us in Adelaide to share, inform, experience and explore simulation in research, education, health, defence, resources and many other sectors. Connect with like-minded simulation developers and practitioners around the world!
